Community Projects and Partnerships

The German American Friendship Club of Venice supports the Community by making donations to civic and fraternal organizations. Other donations were made to Students and also a tree to the Arboretum, Venice.

We invite and encourage our club members and friends to participate in Community projects.

GAFC Vice President Renate Wohning, Haley House Administrator Marie Ann Heckler, GAFC President Sonja Pahl, and Director Siegfried Pahl presenting our club donation in the amount of $1,000.00.

$1,000.00 was donated in 2016 to Shriners children's Hospital in Tampa.

Noble Siegfried Pahl presents the check of the German American Friendship Club of Venice to III. Sir for Sahib's Transportation Fund.

Sigmund Echtler is member of the German American Friendship Club, founder and director of the Florida nonprofit corporation GoodHands International Inc, and the initiator and organizer of the socical network project GoodHands Alliance For Women Empowerment.

The design and development of the new GAFC website is conducted and sponsored by GoodHands International.

GoodHands, as Social Enterprise, has a clear vision. Develop and establish a self-help solution for unemployed women in distress. The holistic strategy of GoodHands involves partnerships with open-minded companies (corporate social responsibility) as well network cooperation with motivated people (volunteers) and organizations which have a similar task. Using GoodHands Services generates Skills and Work for Women in Need

• Handyman repairs and maintenance services

• Painting jobs and cleaning around the house

• Cabinets in garage, shelves in the home

• Fences for the property

• Other services upon request
